How to buy on a Stephan Welz Online Auction

Registration

Free valuations

We offer free valuations on any item to be auctioned. Our valuations are based upon current market prices for similar items, the condition of the item, its rarity and the current demand for such an item. Catalogue estimates may be altered and are subject to revision.

Reserve

Stephan Welz & Co. affords our clients the option to place a reserve on any item to be auctioned. Our specialists will provide any seller with a low estimate of their item. The seller is then able to put their own reserve on the item, as long as the reserve amount is not higher or 20% lower than the estimate given. This service is free of charge.

Payment

All successful bids need to be paid directly after the sale and items will only be released when a valid proof of payment is presented. Payment can be made by the following methods: Cash, Cheque, Banker’s draft, Wire Transfer and Credit Cards.
