COLLECTABLE/ANTIQUE – A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL LIGHT CAVALRY SWORDS, 1870-1910

A steel scabbard and hilt of the first is dented with rust and the wire binding to the handgrip is missing, scabbard suspension rings missing. The second has a discoloured steel scabbard. The blade is etched but markings are indistinct because of age darkening, wire handgrip binding loose.
